Essential-C & flavonoids, consisting primarily of calcium ascorbate, is a natural, non-acidic water-soluble form of vitamin C.
It is manufactured in a water-based process that results in a mixture of naturally occurring vitamin C metabolites, including ascorbate, dehydroascorbate, and threonate.
The bioflavonoids quercetin, rutin and pomegranate extract are free radical scavengers that complement the roles of vitamin C.
Quercetin helps with normal histamine release and normal leukotriene and prostaglandin metabolism.
Rutin and pomegranate extract are important for normal blood vessel integrity and cell function.
Essential-C & flavonoids Serving Size
As a dietary supplement, take 1-2 capsules per day, with or between meals, or as directed by your health care practitioner.

Each vegetable capsule contains:
vitamin C (from calcium ascorbate blend): 619 mg.
calcium (from calcium ascorbate blend): 68 mg.
threonic acid (from calcium ascorbate blend): 7 mg.
quercetin: 50 mg.
rutin: 50 mg.
pomegranate (punica granatum l.) extract (whole fruit): 50 mg.
(standardized to contain 5% ellagic acid)
